Marjorie & Carolyn perform an eclectic blend of music from bluegrass, folk, and Americana traditions, weaving together original songs with personal favorites from bluegrass, old-time country, and folk songbooks. Inspired by artists such as Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Iris DeMent, and The Chicks, their performances offer a sound that is heartfelt and timeless.

The duo began performing together in 2026, blending Marjorie Kelting’s original songwriting with Carolyn Wilson’s lead and harmony vocals, banjo, and Dobro accompaniment. Together, they create a warm, authentic musical experience rooted in storytelling, harmony, and connection.

Bio

Marjorie Kelting is a singer-songwriter from Malone, New York, whose music reflects her North Country roots through contemporary folk, Americana, and bluegrass influences. Her original music is available on all major streaming platforms, including releases such as Adirondack Rail, Summer Days, Please Take Care, and Mother and Daughter.

Carolyn Wilson brings expressive lead vocals, rich harmonies, and instrumental depth through banjo and Dobro accompaniment. Together as Marjorie & Carolyn, the duo offers an engaging mix of original songwriting and thoughtfully chosen covers.
